Blink and you've missed it.

The worst part of a birthday is that the person whom you considered as a good friend has actually forgotten about it, and acted as though nothing has happened when you'll meet up.

A simple sms or call would've been good enough.

Celebrating Her 24th @ Coca Restaurant

I met Pris at Orchard for lunch a.k.a. post-birthday treat.

Although we don't usually meet up (except for MJ), but i always remember her birthday. Maybe only for those whom i treat as good friends. (she should be flattered alright. Ha.)

Anyways, when i walked to the exit of Orchard MRT, i realized that it has changed quite a bit. Pris was saying that she thought she went to the wrong station and ended up at Citilink! Maybe cos the decor and lightings are somewhat similar.

After going round and round Taka, we ended up at Coca Restaurant.



The food is nice, although it doesn't appear as mentioned in this pic.
(But we're too hungry to care.)

I don't know how, but we spent more than 2 hrs there!
People were already coming over for dinner!

We ordered 2 big trays of variety of food, but we couldn't finish.

We were eating and joking away until I saw a little note on the table, stating that:

"Every 100 grams of food wasted will be charged $5!"

Poor Pris have to distribute the prawns equally cos we still have so many left!

Pris: "Eh Ah Pat, later when the bill comes, ask if they will charge us for the wasted food leh."

Me: "Orh ok."

Pris: "Cos if they charge us, then we continue eating."

Me: !!!!

After Coca, we went for CoffeeBean.
Although we were so bloated, we still finished the drinks. (!!)
Had a great time catching up with her.

Great Friends.

Those that you carry a good conversation with.

Those that will be there for you when you need them.

Those that make you comfortable in each other's presence, even when there's an awkward silence at times.

Those that make you laugh, EVEN without their presence. Just reminiscing of some stupid, hilarious things done by them will have you laughing your ass off in the train station... ALONE!

Those friends are hard to come by. So if you'd met them, cherish 'em, before they slowly fade away from your life.

I'm grateful that i've met a couple of them great friends.
(You know who you are.)

I also hope that i was one of those great friends.
